Been searching for an apartment near siue. I found a place in south roxana (not bad looking and cheap). My friend just found a place called lafayette square apartments in wood river il. They are very cheap.
Is wood river an ok place to live?
Also, I saw ratings for lafayette apts and they weren't good at all. Anyone live there and have some insight.

Granite City is just fine. There are hoosiers and white trash and hood rats no matter where you go. I work in Clayton/Ladue area and people can be just as trashy.

I'd rather deal with the trashy people of the crappy STL/Metro areas than the uptight bitches I see everywhere in Clayton/Ladue.
