Midway USA's "Birthday Pricing"

Post by RyanA »

Midway sent me an email yesterday about activating my special "birthday pricing" so I can get a deal on items only until the day of my birthday and only one time. Well, I went in and checked prices on a few things I needed a few days ago and wrote down part numbers and prices. Activated my super special birthday pricing last night and rechecked the prices for all of the part numbers I had. I could not believe my eyes as to how good a deal they gave me.

Prices were EXACTLY the same as before with the exception of the price saying "birthday price" beside it. WHAT A JOKE. This was pretty sad and this will probably effect how much I purchase from them in the future. If someone else has it in stock for the same price, I'll probably get it there. Pretty sad that they lie and act like you are getting a discount for your birthday but they only are trying to up their sales for the same price.

It might cheer you up a bit that Palmetto State Armory is having free shipping all weekend.

Blech. I've always disregarded those emails. What a shady business practice.

However, I did buy my DeSantis Nemesis holster and a part for my .22 from them on separate occasions and the price and shipping time were good both times.
