This was my wake up call....

ok my car before my hatch was a 05 scion tc.. it was my first stick shift and really my first car i put money into. This really is kinda pointless post but.. its pretty crazy that i walked away from this with nothing but alittle bit of bloody nose...

sorry i was gonna finish it but busy at work last night!... ok so i dont remeber much of what happened so im sorry if the story sucks to you all but im just happy to alive cause i shouldnt of walked away from this... To anybody that knows 370 where they have it blocked off from spencer to 370 where are all the road work is... (like i said i dont remember much so sorry if it doesnt make since.. I was driving home one night and my buddy was driving behind me following me we were on the detour from 370 goin towards spencer. That road ends and the only way to go is left but for some reason i went straight.. went across the road work my car had bottomed out on a the road and ripped my oil pan off (they said thats what caused the fire) somehow my car made it up over the hill that is there i and i ended up in the ditch behind the hill. All my air bags had went off (air bags hurt really bad) and by the time i had came to got out of the car my buddt was running up to help and had noticed the car was on fire at the front. So all i could really do is watch my car burn..

p.s. i know it doesnt make since to alot of people but i still dont know what happened ether i had been knocked out so im sorry i know its bad lol LIKE I SAID JUST HAPPY TO BE ALIVE!!

sucks dude, you got very lucky. i know how you feel though too, was in a roll over back in highschool and the roof of the cab almost (1in away) impaled my skull, only thing that kept me alive was the seat belt locking my ass in place. walked away with two scratches on my knuckles but the truck was a total loss

wow, glad youre okay. i had a similar thing happen. i swerved to miss a deer and spun and hit a pole head on. it hit on the passenger headlight and rolled onto its drivers door with my window down. it slid about 75 feet. somehow my head sat where the door rounds up to the roof. could have had nasty road rash if not dead. youre lucky as well.
