^^ i got that... i was mainly talking about the Vtec and "hot burn" part... i didn't notice a solenoid on the head so i was thinking he was full of poop or didn't know what he was talking about...

i don't want to come off sounding like i know things but i'm just curious is all...

Earlier when I clicked the link it just showed your search results on cl so I didn't bother trying to find which ad you were trying to point out. Now it goes to the ad??

idk. I thought the ulev ones had it on the valve cover, like how it will say VTEC, but I would have to google that and I am le tired so I won't. I'm pretty sure I can see the vtec solenoid in the 2nd picture.

Edit: And I have no idea where they got hot burn from, never heard of it.

I've never heard it called that, but it is a lean burn engine. It gets superior gas mileage by having a higher air to fuel ratio than other civics (among other things like having VTEC-E).

No. Some meet other CARB standards.

Regardless, Eric is a great guy. I've bought and installed several of engines and transmissions from him that were all top notch.
