We're getting the NSX guys together. Can someone post a map of the River Road Cruise? We plan on stopping at Fast Eddies on the way back.

Thanks.

Take the River Road til it ends at route 16 - make a left.
Follow 16 til it ends, when you cross the river on the green lift bridge - make a right.
A few miles up on your right is the Barefoot Restaurant.
Keep going more miles and you'll come up to Kampsville - make a right in the middle of town to head to the free ferry.
Once across the river, go about a mile and a half and on the left is the seed warehouse where STLSR use to race til stupidness happened last year.
Go past that about a mile and make a right - this will take you back to 16 after some miles where you can make a right, then another right onto the River Road and head back to Alton.

Now that you've read all of that, here's the map:

Alternatively, you could go through Jerseyville and then south on 67 to Alton.

This ferry, we have some pretty low cars. Will we have a problem with clearance? Where does the ferry travel?

I hear there is a cool painting of a bird that's nice to stop at. Where is that?

The ferry does have some angle on the approaches but if you turn sideways it's not too bad. The ferry goes straight across the river... did ya look at the map? lol

The painting/caves are about a mile from the start of the River Road in Alton, on the right side of the road, can't miss it, there's a parking lot and some walking trails and stuff there. You'll see.

Looking closer now, I see it. What river is that?

On the map, is Fast Eddies near by?

Thanks.

Fast Eddies is off of Broadway, south of the Clark Bridge.
