speedway salvage

dont really know what was going on... called up around 3pm to ask if they had civics there, when they closed, and how they priced parts, the guy seemed really perturbed that i had called, also he said they closed at 6 dunno maybe he was busy, so i figure i have time, left a bit late got there around 5:20, and was just going to check out their selection of ef's and see if one of them had a knuckle on it... we pulled in (the wrong area i guess) and a mid heighted guy with a goatee came out and said they were closed, i told them hey i just wanted to check out and see if one of your civic had a part i need and then ide come back the next day, basically said no and told us to leave... the whole time he just seemed rude as hell, and now i dont even know if its worth driving for an hour just to get scoffed at and talked down too

I hate speedway salvage. I called and asked if they had any 300zx parts and the guy was like "oh yeah I've got about 5-6 of them out back, get em all the time." So I drive all the way there, guess what?! Not a single 300zx in the whole yard. Speedway sucks, and I never have or will go there since then. NOT worth the drive, don't do it.

Modern imports in the city is a good place for newer import stuff, although they are a bit pricey. Plus they get the part for you.

Speedway has a phone?

I never call the yards and ask what they have, they never know. I always just go and walk. If I find nothing i am only out $1

The amount of 4th gen civics they have at the moment is the ONLY reason to ever go there. Otherwise, I don't bother. I was shocked they actually had new cars.
