Help with this hatch

I'm thinking about trading for this hatch.
What do you guys think? He told me he would give $200 along with the trade but not anymore.
But I would need to get a new tranny for it. Does anyone know where I can get a tranny for this hatch? and where I can get it put in for pretty cheap?
Also, I dont want to get a bad car for my truck...and I know im someone who would jump the gun.

This would be my vote.

Sure it doesn't have too many complicated issues that you know of NOW, but my concern would be how many you find later.

Just looking at how the current owner "decorated" it, it says to me that their car knowledge may be a bit lacking...

Try to find yourself a cleaner, unmodified (if you can) car to start with.

I'm driving an s10 right now.
I oh have $500 to spend on anything right now. Because if this I'm looking for a trade or I'd really rather just sell my truck.

I just sold my 2002 sonoma ext cab. Didn't really have a problem selling mine. It was black as well.
