So I'm lookin for a new bike!

I've been doing some thinking (and riding my buddys gsxr-1k up here) and I can't stand not havin a bike so I'm lookin for a new one.

But I can't decide what to get. There's too many options.

So here's a few that I'm seriously considering, let me know what you think.

First (and most likely candidate):
A Honda CBX
Made between 1978-1982

1047cc inline-6 (sounds like a damn ferrari)

Spondon also makes an aftermarket frame for it so with some work i could make it look something like this...

Though I would probably lower it, stretch it more and put a 280 tire on it.

Next:

A Honda CB750
Made between 1969-1979

This has been a favorite of mine for several years now. It would be a Cafe Racer project and would end up looking like this:

This was a 76 CB750 that I was bidding on a couple months ago but it ended up going over what I was willing to pay at the time.

After that you've got the new bikes I've been considering,

2009 Honda CBR1000RR Repsol Edition

2010 BMW S1000RR

Then you've got the other maybes:

Another 954
CBR1100XX Turbo project
CBR600F4i Stunt

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Gimme some input, I'm sure you've got it.

Awesome stuff ... I think an older school cafe racer bike would be the most unique, appealing

There's always a newer, better, faster hyperbike just around the corner, so retro is the way to go IMO

I've been trying to find a decent 1980's RM125 from my motoX days ... guess I'm just fond of the older gens

Triumph Street Triple.. or if you like the cafe racer look. Triumph Scrambler. The Street Triple is a great streetfighter, that or a Ducati Monster. I prefer naked bikes,
