Hey Yall Whats up. My names James, Im outta Macon/Moberly, MO. You all added me on myspace a couple weeks back and I decided that I should take a look at this page. Im on MidMoSR.com, StlSR, and KCSR, and a few other sites all under the same name. I drive a dark green 95 Civic EX. Its mostly stock with the exception that it has a JDM B18C(GSR) sittin under the hood(Greddy knock-off header, Pacesetter exhaust(can muffler is finally gone), CAI). Im workin on this whole black everything out theory and as long as its hard to see at night Im happy. Im not a fan of body kits and I dont think a JUST muffler adds h.p. or torque most of the time that you can notice, but I do think that by tryin anyone can make anything fast. That just me and a lil bout me. Ltr James

If I dont get rid of it, Im gonna turbo it, Im looking for a REAL GOOD low compression kit before I even think of adding the word boost and my engine in the same sentance. Yea I posted pics in members rides section.

just saw the thread.

lower comp means more boost for power... i say just get a good tune and you'll be fine

A good tune will never allow me to run 10-15pounds if I ever wanted. The compression ratio on the motor of 11.6:1 hates larger amounts of boost.

i take it that the jdm b18 comes stock with a 11.6:1 ratio? and if it does, yeah no boost for you. well at least till you lower it down.

Yea thats thats stock, Ive found a couple kits but nothing that I like. The ones Ive found so far are on :BoomSmilie_anim: EBAY and the pistons look like total crap.

I might be able to run 10lbs but Im honestly shooting for 15-20 when its done and Im not a big far of just doing something half where I want it. I like to do stuff all the way when I do it. I would be happy with just 10 right now but id rather just wait it out till I found everything I wanted.
