Hey I got a header and it has a gap of about four to six inches between the outlet and the cat. I need to figure out I there is someone that could do a pipe extension or something like that for a reasonable price. I need to do this on a budget so let me know if anyone can do anything. Here's a picture to explain it.

I had this same problem a few years back. What I ended up doing was moving cat forward, getting new exhaust made. You just answered your own question. If that's not what you want to do, i'd suggest you find a different header.
Wow! Thanks for the obvious! Of you at all noticed what I have Ben asking is if anyone knows a reasonably priced shop to take t to or if there's someone who can do it outside of the shops. Thanks for your insight though.

Any exhaust shop can do do it. Call around and ask for pricing. People with common sense would know this.
Yet another comment dripping with insightful knowledge, the purpose of me putting this thread was to see if people would help with shops around here. being that I just got back from military service I have no idea which shops are worthy of a phone call and which shops I'm better off not wasting my time. But again thank you.

might want to try a test pipe that is adjustable. and take it to shop where someone from the board works and they MIGHT be willing to pass it. Just sayin.
