2 cops 1 prelude...

Tom and I were driving down 94 southish approximately 11:16pm by the Monkey Bar. I was slowing down to the light to turn left a good 50 yards before the stop light because its a bit of an incline and I really dont feel like slamming on my brakes at the last second. I look back and notice a cop right behind me, ok cool I wasnt doing anything wrong so I go on my merry way and wait for the light to turn green so I can make that left onto Wylott I believe it is.

I make the left and quickly notice the cops lights come on, so I make a quick right into the Valvoline. Not sure why I was getting pulled over but whatever. One police officer comes up to my side and another goes to Toms side.

He say, "Mam do you know why I pulled you over?"

I proceed with "No officer I dont know why."

He then fires back with this....."You seemed to be slowing down a little early at that stop light back there."

I give him the most confused look ever. I honestly didnt know what to say.

He then says, "You passed the white line and stopped in the middle of the intersection."

I again gave him another confused look because if I was in the intersection the gentleman that was sitting at the cross intersection to the right of me couldn't have made it through the light if I was in the middle of the intersection. I might have been a little over the line which I know you are supposed to stop at the line, but I was also still baffled by his first reason as to pulling me over.

He takes both our licenses and insurance and cop#1 and cop#2 proceed to their car. About 15 minutes later they come back and he hands the licenses and insurance and says, "Im going to give you a warning for not stopping at the red light" I kind of chuckled and said, "Thanks Officer!" and went on my way.

And im STILL baffled.

Apparently but it was by far the best excuse I have ever heard for pulling me over! Kinda made my night lol

Even though Im not driving yet Ima smartass I woulda just been like reallllly now hows that.But then again id be on the ground handcuffed prob before the convo was over.

I wanted to say something so bad but I held back. Plus its better to be cooperative with him, they seem to treat you A LOT nicer.

lol me too but it as just so funny I couldnt be mean. He was probably just lookin for some punk kids to be in this red "sports car" as they call it.

fuck polite i would take chances be a dick and get the ticket lol=]as long as you video tape it while it happens so you can show everyone later.
