ls/vtec or b20/vtec

I eventually plan on starting to build up a block to put my b16 head on. I was wondering if there is any big mechanical difference between the b20 and ls block that i should know of before i decide. And i was wondering what everyone else would do in this situation.:help: :help: :help:

id go with the ls bottom end because you can find more of them at the junkyard

to do the crvtec right is expensive. if you are on a tight budget(like 98% of everyone!) i would go with the b18, build it to like 12.5:1 and some toda vtec killers, just my dream though.

+1 his block would be awesome for a nice B20 Vtec build.

i looked into both and i would say if you are going na to go with gunmetal si's. if you are going to boost it use an ls they have stronger cylinder walls. just my 2 cents
