Go Blue Jays as far as Im concerned. Eckstein is one of the only guys in the MLB worth a damn and I have a huge amount of respect for the guy. I hope St. Louis is still cool with him after this whole deal.

Hell I'm happy about that. Edmonds is probably a hall of fame center fielder, but I think he's way passed his prime. The same could probably be said about David, but he's just such a good guy. You definitly see a lot more effort out of him than anyone else in the majors.

he has a heart man, but i dont know if hes gonna be around much longer. sucks that whatever happened between the cards and him didnt work out, no matter whos fault it was.

in his interveiw he was nearly in tears because st louis didnt even throw an offer on the table.. i dont care how much longer he has.. that kinda devotion to the cardinals deserves more then just a cold shoulder..

What about when the Cardinals othered him a multi-year contract last season. I think if he was so devoted he would have sign up then.

Baseball is a business, I wouldn't stay at my job if another company othered me more money, would you?
