I will be doing gauge cluster, dashboard, shifter and just about anything thats in front of you when you sitting down. The best part is that I asked them what models they were currently working on and they said the MDX the TL and a completly new platform that they couldnt release the name of so I thinking it may be the new NSX or the s2000 replacment OMG that would be awsome. I will let you guys know when I find out what vehicle Im on and maybe get some input on what you guys like and what not.

Sick! What are you studying at Rolla (or that is where I assume you go UMR = UM-Rolla)? I'm kind of considering doing this. What an awesome job - designing stuff straight for Honda.

No there is three interior groups one for the stuff im doing one for seatbelt and the seat and the third and last is the door panels and the headliner. I had my pick of all three and I figured that front would be best.

Well said!

UMR Racer ... not to sound like your Dad or anything, but positively work your ass off and never say "no" or "I can't" ... say "That sounds like an awesome challenge, let me work on it"

Attitude is everything ... if you don't have the skills you need to execute a job, if people/bosses like you, they will be motivated to help you grow

Conversely, if you're negative and they don't like you, they will sit back, munch popcorn and watch you sink with some task they've assigned you that's over your head

Also, don't get pulled into taking sides ... just comment back ... "that's an interesting position" or whatever

What you do now in this opportunity will determine the course of the rest of your life ... kick some ass!

Okay, lecture over ... carry on, semper fi, tally ho and all that
