Working on Daylight Savings Days?

Post by adio3x »

lol so i just thought of this one day when i was working. Say that someone works at like a 24 hour place like shell. Then on the 1st sunday of Nov at 2am, well this year the time went back an hour. Say that someone has a shift til 2am, would they have to work another hour since its actually 1am and not get paid? LOL! :yelrotflmao:

I work with a whole bunch of older people and they were getting so into this discussion lol. I left for my lunch break and came back and they were still talking about it.

when the dominos i work at was open till 2am on friday and saturday nights, i would normally be there till about 3-3:30am. what we did was when the time came 2:00am and it switches back to 1:00am, we would close. the way we(the assistant manager and me) looked at it was we werent going to get paid for it so we werent going to work it.
