Hey, new to this forum but not to honda's. So hello... I am sure I will be around here alot more in the future.
Anyways on to the question... I need some bolts for the ring gear to go onto the diff (old ones did not like being removed with impact and it cleaned off the tops of the threads). Anyone have any laying around by chance or know someplace that had good grade hardware in stock so I can replace them?
Thanks.

well they are both listed as the same size flanged bolt but yeah the accord/ prelude ones have "special" behind the description.
I think they are special ed... this is rediculous, anything that can and will happen... has. the dealership never stocks this stuff either... I end up usually having to bribe one of the mechanics hook me up out of the bolt box.
edit: I need like 7 of them (3 were good), if anyone has any from any honda I have one I can compare it with to check... I will drive out to you.

how long would it take to get them, cause cost is not the biggest concern... having my tranny back together before the end of time is.06sik20z3;50867 wrote:lmk if you cant find any i might be able to get you some may cost you a lil bit though

I'll see what I have at home...not sure if I have any laying around. Yeah, Preludes/Accord parts are not easy to get, even from a dealership.

You might have already looked it up...I don't know...

Tat is what I came up with for the part number.......they are 3.00-3.50 and the required amount is 10.
This is for a 95 accord ex and I don't know if you want to wait on shipping (online honda parts stores).

yeah prelude/ accord parts are a pita to come by, dealership always has to order the parts it seems.
I did see that they were cheaper online than locally (4.7/ each at ed nap.)... I am gonna have to wait either way so I may order online to say the cash.
I have delays. I appreciate the help guys, if anyone does come across some let me know I will compensate you for your time and whatnot. thanks!
