My Little Secret Is Out
I can't wait to see it done. I have that pulley still on the car, but theres no way that my skinny ass can get it off. I'll be bringing the car over to you and Corey when its drivable and have all three of us take it off.

Me and Corey tried together and couldn't get it, so maybe all three of us could. That bitch is on there tight.SilverStreak;34681 wrote:I can't wait to see it done. werd but I gots the impact now...I also got the stock pulley sitting in the basement waiting to go back on. Rob we gotta get it off and replace that front main seal cause it leaks a half a quart of oil from there like every month. As for the rims on your car there Konigs and the size is 205/50/R15 all season tires and we need to start the minor weight reduction asap.runsonrice;34682 wrote:Me and Corey tried together and couldn't get it, so maybe all three of us could. My Little Secret Is Out
so what was the secret? that you drive a honda? or that some of the parts you bought wont really give you the performance that you thought they would. Or that your still in the closet. MMMMMUUUUUHHHHHHAAAAAAaaaaaaa
sorry i could not help it.
build sounds nice but after having built ALOT of d-series motors (built not bolt ons) this is my opinion and take it for what its worth.
Stage one cam- waste of money unless it was free you paid too much for 1-3 hp gains over stock. Typically stage 1 cams are regrinds and add very little. Ever d- series builder i talked to says they wont even sell a customer a stage 1 because of the lack of performance.
GSR TB- dont waste your money buying a big name TB because you will never notice the difference in performance. your running a non force induction motor which means what you currently have is basically optimum for your set up
NO2- if your going to run a shot don't waste you time and money on anything less then a 50 shot. i would start there and go up, you will never notice a 30 shot (because its only like 15 hp to the wheels). I had a 100hp direct port NO2 kit on my crx and that was worth it (but i also had a fully built z6/y8 combo with 11.5+ compression and a stage 2 NO2 cam plus supporting mods)
so depending on what your goals are , to really get the d to perform your going to need to raise the compression and build the internals and go with a larger cam. Amkee makes some bad ass cams for good price also ALOT of perople have had good luck with the zex stage 2 cams (me being one of them)
but either way you go the car is nice and the build is nice also and if you want once you get it tuned and running ill bring of my hatch and we can run them to see how you far against my b-series (its stock with I/H/E) but let em know soon cause i am putting on my built head/intake manifold and new tune probley next month.
