Ok so I NEED someone to teach me how to install a remote start on a manual car. The reason I need someone to teach me this is because if I learn how to do this then I've got a job at this little hole in the wall audio place up the street from me. So if you know how to do it PM me please. Or if you know of a site that will show me how to do it post up the URL. Thank you.

its real easy on a civic
bypass the clutch switch.....if you have cruise control, there will be 2 switches.
It is a 2 pin plug, you should only have to jump the wires.

Remote start install help!
They aren't, as far as I know, because if the bypass doesn't work and the car goes through your garage...then they are responsible! Unless that changed and I don't know about it??? :dunno:SweetEBPSi;32713 wrote:I didn't think install shops were allowed to put remote starts on manual trannies.

Remote start install help!
Ive heard 2 horror stories about remote starts in manuals (both user error)
Story #1. C5 Z06
had it in gear, sat on his brand new remote start while his car was in his garage. started his car and made it jump thru the wall of the garage into his pool, hydrolocking the car.
Story #2. 350Z (chris knows this one)
guy at a club had his car parked out front in gear, had someone bumping up against him or something which started his car, rolling it forward, riping off the bumping thru a sign.
i know these do abosutly nothing for installing a remote start, these are just reasons why shops wont do it.

You don't know what you're talking about. You're not very smart, and the things you're saying are nonsense. And I'm not angry. But you do need to shut up.
