I just lowered my civic just with lowering springs. I was told that they should drop maybe another inch like this week from driving and breaking down a little. Is this true? Do they wear down?
I was driving home last night and saw a huge dead raccoon in the middle of the road. I flinched up thinking I was gonna hit it, and when I went over it...nothing happened. Soon I realized....MY CAR IS NOT LOW ENOUGH!

What kind of lowering springs did you get?
also they usually don't settle THAT much. Your car may settle like another 1/8th-1/4 of an inch.

What lowering springs were they? When I installed my skunk2 springs, they settled maybe another 1/2 inch.

Told you to get coilovers, most people are never 100% happy with the drop they get from just springs

One time I bought springs and replaced my shitfuck coilovers and was almost mad that the ride height stayed the same. Hope this helps.

but if your wanting cheap and awsome, seriously get H&R race springs!! I promise you will not be disappointed with those.
those springs will lower a car almost 3"s all around and honestly look slammed and ride amazing. You can rock the H&R's on stock struts too and be perfectly fine man.
Only spring I'd ever go with!
