My window crank fell off a few months ago, and about a week before it fell off i couldnt roll my window up or down anymore. I would crank the window lever and nothing would happen.
I dont have ac in my car and i need to fix this asap.
I thought the window was off track, but i dont think this is the problem anymore...i think the crank just became loose and wasnt functioning properly anymore.
Also, im missing the pin and gasket that go along with the lever. I cant seem to fit the door handle in its spot whatsoever.
any suggestions?

They had a hatchback at pick n pull might have some parts you need. I also have like two spare levers if that would help, not sure if i have the innards of them though

I would take the panel off so you can actually see whats goin on. If you still cant see whats wrong with it then pull the regulator and inspect it. You might just need a new regulator.
most likely you need a new one. Unless your handle is stripped out but you would be able to tell pretty easy.

Do you mean a regulator for a power window?master b;262081 wrote:I would take the panel off so you can actually see whats goin on. If you still cant see whats wrong with it then pull the regulator and inspect it. You might just need a new regulator.

Amber, just take the door panel off and inspect it for broken stuff. I should be able to find what ever is broken at the junk yard.

You still have a regulator regardless if its power or not. One has a motor and the other doesnt. You can get a bran new one for like 25 shipped. I would just take it apart clean it and put some white lithium grease on it.Edison Carasio;262338 wrote:Do you mean a regulator for a power window?

But just take it apart and diagnose it thats all you can do as of right now.

I took the door panel completely off and I didn't see anything broken or anything...but I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to be looking at. I think my problem is that I'm missing the pin and o ring for the door handle, but I'm not entirely sure.

with the panel off can you roll the window up and down with the handle? The pin just holds the handle on it doesnt have anything to do with rolling the window up and down. If it just spins around the shaft of the regulator then your handle is stripped out. If it doesnt then your regulator is bound and youll need to remove it.
