are vtec controllers wired into the engine harness....and have to b cut out to b removed? or is it some type of adapter or something?
my brother has one in his car n he has been having issues since his car got broken into and they "tried" to rip it out.....so i told him we need to jus remove it and he run stock...

It depends on the VTEC controller and how it was installed. Most of the time they're wired into the interior harness at the ECU. Both the VTEC Solenoid and VTEC Oil Pressure Sensor wires will need to be soldiered back together to properly remove the controller.
