Reverse rotation transmissions for hondas!? Look inside please!!!

Post by 99BlackHatch »

After doing some reading and research, I've found a company that makes transmissions for Hondas utilizing the "B" and "H" series motors.

A company called "G-Force Transmissions" has released a reverse rotation RWD transmission which will allow the use of a "B" and "H" series in traditional FR (Front engine, Rear wheel drive) platform.

As said from the website itself...
--- "The reliable GF-5R 5-Speed Transmission, adapted for use with reverse rotation B and H-series engines allows anybody utilizing a rear drive combination to use Honda engine technology with a standard, no hassle driveline. Currently G-Force Transmissions is the only company manufacturing a rear-drive transmission for these Honda engines."

Can anyone say... RWD drag racing for us, or Civics, Accords, Integras, and Preludes going out for some VTEC drifting.

not exactly sure, but it might have something to do with the differentials in most rwd rearends... they might spin the opposite direction of the honda motors :dunno: haven't really done a lot of RWD car work yet.
This post comes with a guarantee: I guarantee that I don't care what you think about it.

I'm going to guess that b/h and with that even d/f series engines cranks rotate in an opposite direction to which most rwd transmissions gearing is rotating. That said i would imagine if you put a no reverse rotation rwd tranny on there you would have 5 reverse gears and forward. But that's just my guess since I don't have time to go look at the link right now.
