Car is running weird!!

So i just noticed this the other night, my 98 accord 4cyl. is starting to drive weird, i daily drive this to work so i neverrrr go past like 3k rpms and drive like a grandpa, so i stepped on it last night, and the car feels like its bogging down almost and then it kicks like its going into VTEC when it stops, could this be a fuel problem? maybe a valve sticking? any suggestions!?!? im kind of clueless as i havent had time to really look into it, the car also has 174xxx on it.
