B16 header on my 90 civic
Hey guys I was wondering about some headers for my 90 civic hatch with a b16. Are there any headers that will fit good bc as far as I know they all come close to the ground and especially with my car bc its lowered. Is there any good header out there that will fit right or will I just have to put it on and raise my car or pray I dont hit a speed bump???

Since your car is lowered, avoid DC headers!

I had no probs on my crx with certain headers like single 4-2-1 and two piece 4-2-1, the only header I had any probs with was my Tri-y which for the more bang for your buck and sound puts down great numbers but sat about a quarter inch from the concrete once on and had to be somewhat redone at a HTP thanks to Andrew who bought the crx lol.
When doing a Tri-y you gotta cut the crossmember back quite a bit then weld a plate over to get your structural strength back, the others I had to knock the crossmember back maybe a half inch so that way when the motor tilts however far it wouldn't touch or tap it.
I got pics of the tri-y though if ya think of looking into one to show how I did mine, they sure are pretty and powerful lol.

Motors dirty from dust and painting don't mind that part.

As you can see we took a little more then a Inch out the cross member then welded a flat plate in to give back the structural strength.
These headers are really great but as you can see you can't go super low, also notice if you don't wanna cut and reweld the cross member the best option is a drag bar setup in the front cause it deletes the cross member and opens alot of options for under the hood and loose's a nice amount of weight.
