What did I just break? 83" Accord, EK1 Motor

Post by WierdAznDude »

Was putting the motor back in the car and accidentally snapped 2 hoses off what looks like a temperature sensor. Does anyone know what it is or where I could find a replacement for it? Motor is an EK1 out of a 1983 Honda Accord Lx. Thanks

I believe they are Thermo valves. Basically temperature heats up on valve an opens the other end of the vaccum port. They are pretty common in junkyards among almost all carbed hondas. Actually lemme check i might have on in my basement you could have.
