Something kind of wierd...

Well i hadn't driven the hatch in 2 days and went to take it out tonight and the following happened:

let the car idle for about 10 minutes as i cleaned myself up.

was running perfect, steady idle, no cel

pulled out of my sub devision, temp was up to normal so i got on it a bit, vtec engaged i know that but i looked down and my speedo was at 0, so im thinking VSS. so i started to slow down to turn around and the check engine light came on, again thinking VSS, but then the idle starts to get funky, up and down from 1000 to 1500 rpms, now im thinking IACV which i just fixed.

check engine light was on all the way home and i turned the car off to jump and check the cel but when i jumped wires now the ECU isnt throwing any codes.

now i have no CEL and no Speedometer

Wiring issue, perhaps?

my thoughts exactly.

i was about to rip the harness out and undo it all because im getting a, new, one soon, but im also getting new wheels soon and i want to be able to drive the car once i mount them, also i dont have a multimeter here at home so i couldnt check for any openings in the wires, but, if there were, the cel would be on. right?

VSS would be code P0500, just fyi in case it does code

make sure ur engine to chassis grounds are kosher......... so that ur not on the side of the road!!!!!!!!!!!!

i wish all the factors that played into me not stopping were different and that wouldnt have happened, i am truly sorry for that and i want you to know i wasnt accellerating past, my cars just THAT loud lol

Mine acts goofy too from time to time Josh. My car will idle the same way at times, the speedo works fine though, but I will get a SOLID CEL and I will drive down the road for 3 mins and turn the car off and back on and it's gone...

This ONLY / NORMALLY happens when there is rain or has been raining. Odd.

yours sounds like wiring too, the car has ran perfect since i fixed the IACV so idk what it could be other than wiring

cabin leaking or a/c drain plugged up causing moist or wet area around the ecu?
