What to do with a GSR

So im gonna start building the engine......soonish.......
What should i do for under 1000 bucks? I'm looking for maybe 230hp
Im prolly sitting right around or under 200hp with the CAI and full 2.5 t1r exhaust with straight pipes.
Just wanting somethin a little more peppy. Thanks for the input

you could piece together a turbo kit(no ebay brands), supercharge it, there is a lot of different things you could do but for under 1000 it might be a little difficult

yeah your probably closer to 160

Your power estimates are off by about 45-55whp as everyone else has said. And you won't be able to build a 230whp N/A motor for under $1,000. You'll have to expand your spending amount or make a more realistic goal for what you have.

i wish i had goals of 1000 or less. mine involve sums more congruent with college loans after a year at SLU or Harvard

well this is why im posting, to get some info........so. im at 170hp stock and im guessing a CAI and exhaust will get me maybe 20-25hp. soooo im just shy of 200hp.........not 160. Im talkin bout hp not whp. so other than nitrous what can i do to my engine for 30hp thats under $1000. thanks

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA you seriously think that just a cai and exhaust will net you that much power???? you are sadly mistaken. please stop magazine racing. why are you concerned more about flywheel power than the power you put to the wheels? WHP is the power that really matters.
