f22 crx?

Post by slammed98ex »

I was wondering if anyone had any info on doing a f22 swap into a crx or if its even possible. If so it would be greatly appreciated. Decided I wanted to do something different that I haven't really seen. Plus I've been told you can run a lot of boost on that motor as well is this true too? Thanks

horrible idea, who would want a f series. best thing to do is go with the ever more popular, trendy, and jdm k series with boost. just give me the f series and proceed to the nearest k series. thanks.

btw f series can take quite a bit of boost, but there is risks in boosting any engine. why people think that motor is especially well with boost is the low compression and iron sleeves. however the stock pistons have the typical weak honda ring landings, and the head will lift with enough cyl pressure.

given you have a healthy maintained engine, quality management, quality tuning, and put together a nice setup... you can lean on the f pretty well. what are you goals for hp and whatnot? if you want 250-300whp and great torque equal to the hp, f series with a little boost will get it done.

if you want some mega hp street monster or more... you might wanna look to something more well supported. f series motors are pretty fresh territory for alot of people and the scene is general since they are regarded as inferior, only recently they have gained more attention.
