Is it still throwing the KS code?

Did you knock some vac lines when putting the sensor on the back of the block. Check the one in the back lower side of the IM

na i though it was a a vacumn leak 2 but it still throw sthe code 23 after it ben replace and now it idles at 3000 so i think ith manifold gasket is fucked but it still dosent explain why the fuck it only revs to 7600 i switched out ecus from 2 different b16 crxs and the other still revs past 8200 with both ecus but this one with either ecu still does the same thing i changed maps and still no luck any ideas

check the idle air control on the throttle body. I hate obd0. also if you have a bseries that is obd1 in a crx it demands great harness work to get everything working right.

Gl on the problem.

also if it surges its the tps you can take the iac and tps off and clean them but its probably better to get one from a pick and pull yard.

Bah we went through it got everything fixed, throws up the map code but thats a easy fix. The problem was a shitty harness someone did so I rewired it and as I was checking for wireing problems the vtec spool and pressure clips were broken so those are now hard wired.

The car runs fine at 800 rpms now, goes to 7800rpms but obviously still have one code to fix. All in all took about 2 hours to run through, also the idle surge was the bad ecu that was cracked in half that I found on the #3 cylinder.

Thanks for all the help and if anyone has a si map let me know, I found one but turns out the vacuum piece under the buckets was broke off so it caused a high rev to 3000rpms and that was the vacuum leak.
