Integra Exhaust Differences

So the only thing that I am missing from my I/H/E is the midpipe and I just wanted to know if the 2001 GSR used a crinkle bend exhaust or if it used mandrel bent like the type R. If it is crinkle bent will I see that much of a difference between that and aftermarket mandrel midpipe on a close to stock car. Also could I just use a Type R midpipe for the same performance gain as a aftermarket midpipe.
