90 civic si brake problems

I bought this 90 civic si w/ B18B swap and i'm having a problem brakes. the brake lights won't come on when i step on it. I checked the fuse and changed the bulb but still nothing.

does your horn work? the brakes and the horn are on the same circuit so if your horn doesnt work your brake lights wont work either.

check the ground for the brake lights in the back remove the cover from underneath the latch for the hatch and make sure the ground is ok...

Sounds like the main relay. You need to drop your gas tank to get to it.
