Low voltage going to my Water Temp and my Air Temp sensors..

Post by 99BlackHatch »

I am using the Apex'i Power Fc and it shows that I have a CEL. So I looked it up in the sensors menu and it showed that my "WTRT" and "AIRT" had little to no voltage going to them.

I looked at one sensor, I'm drawing a blank currently, but the one under the VTEC housing, and I notice that a wire had broke off. I luckily have an extra wiring harness hanging around, so I decide to splice the (4) wires... coming out of the car the wires I found were Red and Brown and connected those (2) to a "harness" with the same plug but with Green and Black.

I plugged the plug into the sensor and checked for a CEL and it was still there with low voltage. I swapped the two wires, the green and the black, and still got the same thing...

Maybe a fuse? I have no clue what to do.

I have the prob;em of the car pouring too much gas into the motor at start-up / idle. As soon as i can fix this with the air temp and water temp, I can get tuned finally.

Any help is appriciated!

I'm still a neighborhood ASSHOLE!
