Turbo 1.5?
Well I can get my hands on a Garrett T25 turbo for relatively nothing. What kind of power do you think I could get out of a mpfi swapped 1.5 running around 5psi? Not looking for a track car by any means, just curious if its worth the time/money/effort to strap it on or just swap in a b16.

What I have heard is that each pound psi gains you 10 hp. But thats also tuned properly.

since its internally wastegated, i believe its set to 8psi. so unless you are planning on modifiying the actuator to run 5psi, you will run 8psi. also, i will say that with that and a stock exhaust you should put down somewhere close to 158whp and 148ft/lbs of torque. also depending on the weight of your car and traction it can be good from a high 13 - mid 14 second pass on the quarter mile.ludeboy;46940 wrote:Well I can get my hands on a Garrett T25 turbo for relatively nothing. Well the problem is that its my daily so blowing it up isn't an option right now. I don't think the stock bottom end with 150k will take 8psi. Does anyone even tune honda's in the STL area?rickles8099;46956 wrote:since its internally wastegated, i believe its set to 8psi. so unless you are planning on modifiying the actuator to run 5psi, you will run 8psi. also, i will say that with that and a stock exhaust you should put down somewhere close to 158whp and 148ft/lbs of torque. also depending on the weight of your car and traction it can be good from a high 13 - mid 14 second pass on the quarter mile.

Do a compression test on the car to find out if the motor is in spec. If the compression is good. You should be good for boost, even at 5-8 psi, but I wouldn't go any higher then that. Lots of people tune Hondas in the area. The best place to go would be Lowe Performance in Alton, Ill.ludeboy;46960 wrote:Well the problem is that its my daily so blowing it up isn't an option right now. Lowe in Alton Ill or if you wanna make really good power and be relaible for sure but pay some good money than Super Dave is who I recommend. But for money and time wise Lowe will be fine.ludeboy;46960 wrote:Well the problem is that its my daily so blowing it up isn't an option right now.
