My engine light was on and i went to the dealership for them to take a look at it ... they said i had excessive leaks in all of my cylinders and that it would costs 3200 to fix it ... ive been driving around with it for like a month with the engine light on ... but at first it kept on going on and off ... so i just thought that my gas cap wasnt tighten all the way. They said it was from high revving ... (im thinking what did they make i-vtec for than) maybe from downshifting? i think its bs that the dealership wont cover this ...what do u guys think i should do just fix it .... or dont even worry about it ... meaning just keep driving it as it is ... because i dont know how big of a problem cylinder leaks are. Anything help is much appreciated - thanx
P.S. im not one of those retards that redlines daily ... i only get on it once in a while ... even than i only shift at 7600

thats retarded man... unless you actually do drive past redline (and your lying about it) it sounds like an engine defect.
and when we drove around saturday it didn't seem like you ever pushed it hard at all :dunno:

did you try adjusting the valves? .... what check engine light code were you picking up?
I'm sure they looked at adjusting the valves first to make sure they are not getting stuck open a little....but I don't know.

well since you know that its a compression leak its baisically time to do a leak down test to find out where the leak is comeing from. What kind of car is it by chance?
