okay i have been planning on putting a kseries engine into my hatch. i have a k24a1 engine at my house. but i would still need roughly 5 thousand to finish it right. so in the meantime i was wondering if i should just get a turbo d in there for cheap so i can play around what do you guys think. my goal for the car is 300whp is that doable for about 2 thousand not having the engine or anything.

most likely no. 200whp you can do for that much, but 300 is pushing it simply because you will need some engine work done to handle that much. what kind of D are you looking for? oh and its a 92-95 hatch right? I have a hydro tranny for it if you need one
