painting over carbon fiber question

I am painting my carbon fiber hood when i paint the rest of the car, is there any special steps i have to do to paint over it.

just treat it like any other fiberglass

just wrap it so you can use the hood later down the road if you want without loosing the carbon look forever

I think it would be very hard to find a color matching wrap paint combo.
