spraying captiva blue pearl

Post by mybluesi »

Does anybody know the sequence to spray CBP, cuz everywhere i look it says that the paint code is a clear coat, so i didnt know if you had to have a special blue paint and then this clean, or what, cuz i know with candy paints you use either a silver or gold base then spray your translucent candy over it, then your clear.... but i didnt know if CBP was anything like that, or what.

the reason im asking is because im looking at a car that needs the front end resprayed, so imma need to get that done..... thanks

any help would be appreciated

so when it says...
Captiva Blue Pearl Clearcoat_____________B-62P___92-94

thats just a basecoat, and then you just throw the clear over it.... so its just a normal paintjob?
