Polishing Lips?

Post by Spork »

Just curious if people know of a good place that can polish out the lips of some wheels.

they are currently powdercoated, so IDK what is necessary for treating the line where the polishing meets the finish, would I want to clearcoat the whole thing to keep it from chipping?
any insight would be great, thanks.

i polish big wheels for 18wheelers everyday and its a pain in the ass if they are clear coated. i would suggest just sanding down what you want polished and do it yourself really not that hard if you got the stuff. you will want to sand them with 400 600 and 1000 grit though. and use a buffer with a polishing pad and some rouge. its really easy. post a pic and maybe i can get you a quote at my shop
