The next autocross event will be on May 25th (Memorial Day) at GIR. Cost to compete is $30 and you can either register in person (7:30-8:45 day-of-event), or register online at http://stlscca.motorsportreg.com/.

Watching is free....come on out!

I should be there as long as it wont be a problem if I leave early as I have a family BBQ to attend. I am in the Solo School so Im sure I wont be much competion anyway. Looking forward to it though.

I'll be there for setup at the Solo school (and at the event the next day of course), so you might find me there. It'll be a good learning experience for you...don't worry about how you'll do at the school and event. Just have fun! :)

my car needs quite a bit of work before I can bring it out for one of these, but I'll be in the area in the afternoon so I may stop by to check out the action,
one question though: How late will this go on?

They said it is normally over about 4. Also you dont really need to have anything done to your car as long as you register for the right class. At the school today there was a stock I think 4 door Accord all the way to a porsche.

I had a good time and learned alot. Started the day in the high 50's on my first run to my best run just over 49. Looking forward to tomorrow for sure.
