Wheelies

Post by 08NHBPSI »

Well tonight I'm going to practice doing wheelies, I'll probably just do powerband wheelies in first to get comfortable but my goal is to eventually be able to ride them. Any tips? Any good places to practice that you know of?

clutch it up! stay away from powering it up!!! clutch it in 1st to get a fell 4 it at first each time raisin the rpms a lil bit till u get the wheel up were your comfterbol. then practice throttle control don't worry bout ridin shit out till u have control of the throttle. sit down- put your ass back on the seat and just pop the clutch. for a more balanced stance put left foot on back peg and pop the clutch. and always remember cover your rear brake!!! if the front end gets too high 4 ya give the rear brake a lil pressure... don't slame the brake just a lil pressure. even work on that... get the bike up a coupe of feet and practice how much pressure it take to bring the bike down. theres more but stick with that at the moment and then get back to me when all thats done and your comfterbol and will talk about the balance point. get out and ride thats all it takes is experience and being comfterbol.

o yeah i forgot. lower your rear tire pressure down... some were between 15 and 20 pounds. full tire pressure will make the bike wobble.... u dont want that. the more tire u have on the road the easier it is to get it up.
