Need Help: Integra OEM CD Player/Radio

Ok, I took this out a while back and it worked great when removed. It has sat on the shelf since then and never been used. When we put it in my friends integra, no sound comes out. Anyone ever had this issue, or heard of something like this?

Did you plug it in correctly? Check fuses? Got speakers?

not the code, fuses good, speakers work fine with the radio that's in there now (and was in there before). I'm betting it's a case of warehouse rot. A cap leaked out, or something corroded in it while sitting on the shelf.
