Give users permission to change our thread title

Just a suggestion, but give us users permissions to change the thread title of our own threads. I would like to be able to put dates on my progress thread title. Right now it lets you change the title but the change doesn't show up

I think that is a function that the premium users can do. If you're interested, go in your usercp, and click paid subscriptions.

I just tried it and we can't change the thread title that is displayed in the subforums or new posts section.

there is no option in the regular users permissions to allow you to edit your own thread titles. there may be a mod or hack out there or something i dont know of, but right now as far as i can see its not possible...

Try:

Admin CP>Settings>options>message posting and editing options>time limit on editing title. Change that to some crazy high number like 99999999999999999999999999999999999999999

edit: I held the 9 key for awhile so mine is 1.0E+121

if i could control this per usergroup or at least per forum i would, just dont think its a good idea. everyone would be changing their titles no one would know what to search for. would be rather confusing.
