What about adding a "new posts" link at the bottom of the page?
I surf this thing all day and it would be way more efficient I think.

Eh, I do it one of 2 ways. Hit Home then click, or I also made a bookmark of the new posts url. No need to scroll up, just click in the link bar at the top.

good call on the book mark, i use the keyboard as little as possible.
