Member Contact Info

I was thinking it might be handy to have a member's contact info list. I've seen this on a few other boards, and I've found it to be extremely helpful, esp in times of need of repairs.

I actually had to call Rick today for a few ppl's info b/c we THINK the ignition switch went out on my car, and DESPERATELY needed numbers.

If we could make this possibly a "members only" area, so no one outside the board could view, it'd be great. I'm quite hesitant upon leaving my own number b/c i've had previous issues w/ stalkers in the past, but it would be nice, and quite helpful at times i think.

Anyone else feel the same?

its a good idea, but i know that i dont want random people calling me up.

the board is already set up so that you have to register before you can see any posts. but that doesnt keep someone from just registering to see the board and then never come back. i could set it up so that once i appoint some people to be mods, it could be posted in a mods only section and if someone needs to get ahold of someone else, they contact a mod and the mod can look up the persons info and relay it to back to the person who needs it.

and to let the normal registered people know the people on the list, i can sticky a post and put a list of just names.

just an idea... just hope it makes sense

i like the idea alot and agree w/ everything you said last night.

hopefully we can get this set up soon.

oh...thanks for all the help last night! we got the car done around midnight.:msnsad:

glad to hear they got it running for you and what happened to you "calling me back?"

that...and it was like 1230 or so when shawn left.....AND I KNOW YOU WERE PROLLY UP STILL! lol

actually... i went to bed about 11pm. its the earliest ive went to bed in about 2 or 3 years
