VW MkV goes down

Let me preface by saying I don't condone nor do I often engage in street racing, but when the MkV pulled next to me and took off it was on. Ran hard tied til about 60mph hit a light on forest park and slowed down. Light turned green and I jumped a half car. Hit second and pulled a whole car then hit the rev limiter (oops:). Grabbed third with 1/2 car to spare until we hit traffic. I am so glad I bought this car over the MkV. Car is a blast to drive and obviously just as fast or faster depending on driver.

Also raced a new 5 series BMW on the interstate from 50-90 we were dead even then hit traffic. I actually pulled from behind that car in 3rd to even us up. Not a kill but this car is quicker than I thought it would be. :demon:

I have a little CRX that needs new hose clamps and thats the only reason why its not running right now. lol

as in the express way thru the city? If so, that road was made to street race on!

I have a 09 coupe. I love it, too. Except 2nd gear is getting a little grindy, and it's only two weeks old, with a little over 1k miles on it.

its only a matter of time before your tranny needs to be replaced
