World Street Challenge

The World Street Challenge 1 is supposed to be at Gateway from the 15th to the 18th of this month. It's modeled after the World Ford Challenge but it's open to any street car. They're having car shows, drag racing, a low rider slam off, sound comp, swap meet, manufacturers midway, and a cruise. Nik saw it in a Super Street, but this is the first I've heard of it. If it's anything like the World Ford Challenge, it should be pretty cool. Is anybody going? I'm not too sure what ticket prices look like.

What exactly is a "swap meet" and a "manufacturers midway"?

A manufacturers midway is the alley of vendors. The big catalog companies will be there pedaling their stuff. The swap meet is...well...a swap meet. People clean their garages and sell their used stuff.
