i have a set of spiked shoes that i used during cross country and track. they really are light weight. so light that you can hardly tell they are on. im sure i can let you borrow them to help you represent the NoCo crew :)

what have you been smokin? 3/8 inch spikes going into pavement is ultimate traction. so much traction that the shoes stick into the pavement when you lift your feet. trust me... i know.

dont really think so, but heres a question...
what slows you down more, not enough traction or having too much traction?

in all reality, youre not supposed to wear the long spikes if you are going to be runing on pavement. if you were going to be running on a lot of pavement, you would either use no spikes or 1/4 inch spikes.
