all it really shows is the difference between a cast wheel and one that is forged, of course the forged wheel is going to be stronger.

Exactly... I'm sure if ROTA spent some time and built some forged wheels, they might not have the "FRIENDS DON'T ROCK ROTAS" and "I HATE YOUR FAKE WHEELS" and such or all the wheel destruction on the internet too.

But with more work and quality, comes with a bigger price. Sometimes it's worth to wait a little while longer and save up and spend a little more than to rush in and get the "look" that you want with some poor quality work behind it.

EDITED DUE TO: Accidentally wrote Cast instead of Forged.

This. I waited over a year for my Auto Arts but it was well worth it. People get too impatient when saving for parts.

Rotas are cast.....so are most oem wheels. Cast is not bad, just not as good as forged. Cast will work for most applications on the road. If all you plan to do is hard park there is 0 issues with using cast wheels. Now for real racing I would agree a purpose built forged or steel wheel is going to be a lot safer.

What I don't agree with is rota and othe companies ripping off major brands designs.

Unfortunately, many replica wheels are copies of a wheel that is no longer produced.

As long as the wheel meets JWL and VIA standards, safety shouldn't be a concern. As stolle said, it's just comparing a cast wheel to a forged wheel. All wheels have their limits. And I'm sure if you put an OEM wheel to that test, it would crack just as easy.

You don't know what you're talking about. You're not very smart, and the things you're saying are nonsense. And I'm not angry. But you do need to shut up.
