On Track, Chasing down NASCAR Chevy

Just some fun video I came across when I was out at the Hallet, OK road course ... I'm behind one of those Chevy Lumina (?) Nascar editions and a VERY popular car out there

This guy didn't want to give it up for a VW I guess ... in DE etiquette I had "earned" the pass and he's sorta' obligated to point me by, but hey, this is Okleyhoma!

Ah, Monte Carlo ... I knew I didn't have it right

Oh ... yeah I should warn "No Sound Needed" 'cause yes, you're req'd to run with the windows down, even if light/moderate rain ... was drizling during that session

So all you hear is wind buffeting the camera's mic

If I put more work into my video skillz, I would add music

What is the reasoning behind running with the windows down in the rain?

Dramatically portrayed, but yep, tha's why

In DE's though, with heavier rain, the club sponsoring the event will usually allow windows to go up

In heavier rain, usually everyone's so bummed about the rain / scared of wrecking, they don't go out for that session anyway

Special? Nothing other than I found that car's popularity amusing among the Okie boys ... not much of a track / DE car, but don't tell them that
