I've decided that I'm going to go back to a Honda and so I'm joining the forums to gather more info and maybe get a car from here.
I used to own an 87 Integra RS... sadly I no longer have pictures even. It was red with 2 12 inch wide black racing stripes.
I'm looking at the 06+ civics something I can drive on for some time to come rather than buying another beat car like my current daily driver being an 85 BMW 325E with over 300k miles
Avatar to come later as it won't auto crop the pic I already have online.

Those tend to be priced higher than I want to pay versus the mileage on them, otherwise I would love to be a bit sportier as a starting point.02Type-S;279951 wrote:Welcome, look into the 05-06 RSX-S also!
Key idea here is I'm looking to buy around 30k-50k miles so all the initial wear in has been done and its obviously not a lemon kinda thing. ... but the prices are still rather high.

Shit you can raise your mileage requirement and still get a Honda that will have years of life left in it and that would give you more options

I put down 25-35k miles every year (historically cause I just did the math and to and from work only would be less than 9k a year now), 5 years to pay off and I've put 125k-175k later and I'm over 200k again already. I've been thrashing a different car every 2 years since I got out of high school thankfully I've spent less than $1k on most of them but most all have been bought around 160k. All of them have been towed to the junkyard after I'm done. I also don't have the time or the space like I used to to work on them as much as I did back in the day.
